TL;DR
Hey, I'm Rohan Pavuluri. I'm the Chief Business Officer at Speechify and the creator of TeamPost. I built TeamPost because I kept having ideas for LinkedIn posts and never actually writing them. If you've ever jotted down bullet points for a post and then forgotten about them by Wednesday, you know exactly what I mean.
But the longer version of why I built this is more interesting. So let me back up.
How I Got Here
I co-founded Upsolve, a nonprofit that helps families file for bankruptcy for free. The idea was simple -- millions of Americans are drowning in debt and can't afford an attorney to help them get a fresh start. So we built a free tool that walks people through the entire bankruptcy filing process, step by step. No lawyer required. To date, Upsolve has relieved nearly $1B in debt for low-income families. I'm still involved as Board Chair.
That experience changed how I think about everything. Building something that genuinely helped people dig out of debt and rebuild their lives -- it's hard to overstate what that teaches you about the power of removing barriers.
I went to Harvard (A.B. in Statistics) and went through Y Combinator with Upsolve. After that, I joined Speechify as Chief Business Officer, where I work today. Speechify is a leading Voice AI company and the largest consumer Voice AI app across the Apple, Google Chrome, and Android app stores. Working at the intersection of AI and consumer products gave me a front-row seat to how AI can genuinely change the way people create and consume content.
But the thread that connects all of it -- Upsolve, Speechify, TeamPost -- is one idea: going direct.
Going Direct
Upsolve was about removing barriers between people and the help they needed. No expensive attorneys. No gatekeepers. Just a direct path from debt to a fresh start.
That same principle kept showing up everywhere I looked. And when I started thinking about LinkedIn and professional content, I saw the exact same problem.
Most professionals have expertise worth sharing. They know things that would genuinely help people in their industry. But there's this gap between having knowledge and actually sharing it.
Some people hire ghostwriters. Most people just never post at all. And some people -- like me -- draft stuff in their notes app and never hit publish. The knowledge stays locked up. The professional never gets credit for what they know.
I wanted to fix that.
Why I Actually Built TeamPost
Honestly? I built it for myself first.
Between Upsolve and Speechify, I'd learned how much a strong LinkedIn presence matters. It's where deals happen, talent gets recruited, partnerships form. I wanted to show up consistently.
But I couldn't do it. I'd have an idea on Monday, scribble some bullet points, and by Wednesday I'd moved on. The post never got written. Meanwhile, I'd see people in my space posting exactly the kind of content I wanted to be putting out.
It wasn't a lack of ideas. It was the friction between having an idea and publishing something polished. That gap is where most LinkedIn ambitions go to die.
So I started building a tool to close it. Something that could take my rough ideas -- bullet points, half-formed thoughts, voice memos worth of rambling -- and turn them into posts I'd actually be proud to publish. Not someone else's voice. My voice. My ideas. Just refined and ready to go.
That became TeamPost.
What Makes TeamPost Different
There are a lot of LinkedIn tools out there. Most of them feel like they were designed for social media managers at big companies. They're complicated. They're expensive. And they assume you already know what you want to say -- they just help you schedule it.
TeamPost starts at the beginning. You bring the raw idea. TeamPost helps you shape it into something worth posting. The AI gets your voice and style. It doesn't make you sound like a generic LinkedIn guru. It makes you sound like you, just a little sharper.
Then it handles the rest. Scheduling. Posting. Keeping you consistent even when life gets busy.
I built it to be the simplest possible path from idea to published post. No complexity. No learning curve. Open it, throw in your idea, get back a post you can publish.
The mission
Here's what I believe. Every professional has expertise worth sharing. The marketing director who's run a hundred campaigns. The recruiter who's hired hundreds of people. The nonprofit leader who's built programs from scratch. They all have insights that could help thousands of people.
But most of them won't share because the process of turning knowledge into content is too hard. They'll stay silent. And the world misses out.
TeamPost exists to change that. I want to make posting on LinkedIn so easy that the only excuse for not doing it is genuinely not wanting to. No more "I don't have time." No more "I'm not a good writer." No more "I wouldn't know what to say."
You know what to say. You've been doing your job for years. TeamPost just makes it easy to get it out there.
What Connects All of This
People ask me what connects Upsolve and TeamPost. On the surface, legal tech for low-income families and a LinkedIn content tool don't seem related at all.
But to me, they're the same mission. Both are about helping people go direct. Upsolve gave people direct access to debt relief without needing an expensive attorney. TeamPost gives professionals direct access to their audience without needing a ghostwriter or a marketing team.
I'm obsessed with making complex tools simple. The best technology disappears into the background and just lets people do what they want to do. For Upsolve, that was filing for bankruptcy. For TeamPost, it's sharing your expertise.
Where TeamPost Is Going
I think within five years, every serious professional will have an active LinkedIn presence. It'll be as expected as having a resume. People who are posting today are early, but they won't be early for long.
My vision for TeamPost is to be the tool that makes this shift effortless. Whether you're a recruiter, an AE, a marketer, a nonprofit leader, or anyone else who wants to build their professional brand -- TeamPost should be the easiest way to do it.
Not the most complicated. Not the most feature-packed. The easiest.
Because when it's easy, people actually do it. And when professionals share their expertise, everyone wins. They build their brand. Their company gets visibility. Their industry gets smarter. And the audience gets value.
That's what I'm building toward. If you're reading this, I hope you'll join me.
Go direct. Start posting. Your expertise deserves an audience.
